Considering China cheapies

ChinaNappies (2)

For some of you who use or are considering using cloth nappies, you might stumbled across some amazingly cheap deals for China-made nappies on a couple of occasions whilst shopping online.

The type of nappies I’m referring to are ones manufactured in China and distributed to various resellers and retailers around the world who re-label them under their own brand name.

Like everything else, there are both pros and cons to consider when buying these sort of nappies. The biggest ‘pro’ being the fact that they are so cheap. The biggest ‘con’ is potentially compromising on quality and long-term wear-and-tear.

I believe the key thing with buying China cheapies is to manage your expectations, bearing in mind that ‘you get what you pay for’ – I’ve come across a number of poor reviews from people who’ve bought China cheapies, but I also know a number of people who were pretty satisfied with their China cheapies.

Three main tips on buying China cheapies would be:

  1. Do your research to check if the nappies are China imports – check out reviews and study/compare photos of the nappies.
  2. Evaluate the pricing and ensure you are getting a fair price for the nappies if they are China imports.
  3. Manage your expectations – it’s often hard to determine if the one you’re getting is the ‘best’ version of the lot. But if you pitch your expectations accordingly, things could potentially work out alright for you.

  1. Would surely love to check more about these. They are indeed cheaper and convenient than those disposable diapers. Thanks for sharing it here.
