Bake to keep warm

Only three more days before the official winter season sets in. But we've already begun to feel the wintry chill in the air...

So to keep warm... I decided to do some baking on Sunday.

I concocted my own version of "Apple Sponge Pudding".

Two apples, sliced into thin wedges, and tossed in some sugar;
(Then mix a simple sponge cake batter of a stick of butter, half-a-cup sugar, three-quarters-cup self-raising flour and two eggs)
Apples go into a well-greased baking dish/tray;
Batter goes over the apples;
Bake until golden in a 180ÂșC oven.

As easy as that!
